The Étienne – Antique French Mustard Jar
Sale price Price Sold Out Unit price per
Once used to hold mustard in a rural French kitchen, The Étienne is a petite stoneware jar with a soft, neutral glaze and timeless silhouette. Its charm lies in its simplicity—humble, tactile, and made to be used.
We found The Étienne in a wooden crate at a brocante in the Charente countryside, among other everyday wares worn smooth by time and touch. Though small in scale, it’s full of quiet presence—perfect for holding paint brushes on a desk, dish brushes by the sink, or a single stem on a bedside table.
A quiet piece, rooted in ritual.
