We found The Élise folded in the attic of a stone house near the Dordogne—forgotten, but perfectly preserved. Modest in scale, she’s just the kind of piece meant for the corners we often overlook: the blank wall in a hallway, the nook beside a window, the in-between space that suddenly feels considered when something soulful is placed there.
