A rare 19th-century French repoussé mirror, crafted in hand-pressed brass — a technique once reserved for the gilded homes of Paris and the provinces. Repoussé, meaning “pushed out,” allowed artisans to raise intricate designs from metal by hand, creating the scrolling florals and rococo flourishes that still dance across its frame today.
