A beautifully woven antique tapestry from the late 17th to early 18th century, featuring a refined hunting scene with riders dressed in period attire. Measuring an impressive 138" x 57.5", it retains much of its original charm and character. The reverse reveals the craftsmanship of the weaving process, with visible weft threads. Wear consistent with age—including some fraying and light water staining near the top—does not detract from the overall presence of the piece and is reflected in the price.
