Once used for grinding spices and herbs, this old French mortar carries the quiet rhythm of the kitchens it lived through.

Please note: This item carries centuries of age and therefore comes with patina and wear. Surface marks are present throughout and on the inside of the mortar. Its surface has an irregular, hand-hewn roughness that’s very much part of its character. The price has been reflected accordingly.
