Antique Chinese Elm Bench with original patina, showcasing intricate and rare tenons. Its extraordinary and uncommon color and size, rarely found elsewhere, adds an authentic touch that sets it apart from modern-day reclaimed benches. Originating from the Shanxi province at the start of the 20th century, where they would have been used for everyday seating both indoors and out. Unlike other antique benches, it still boasts solid construction, standing as a testament to enduring craftsmanship and offering both beauty and sturdy support as a reliable seating option to this day. It has an A-frame, moulded legs slotting directly into the bench seat with tenons for days!

Please note that this item is vintage and therefore comes with minor wear that is to be expected and appreciated as part of its charm.
