Limited Edition. lithograph. "Annette" by Giacometti

Alberto Giacometti, a Swiss sculptor, painter, craftsman, and printmaker, was a key figure in 20th-century art, largely based in Paris but regularly visiting his hometown, Borgonovo. Influenced by Cubism and Surrealism, his work delved into philosophical inquiries on human existence.

Alberto Giacometti frequently painted and drew his wife, Annette Arm, who served as his primary model and muse. Annette's presence in his life profoundly influenced Giacometti's artistic output, with her image appearing frequently in his paintings, drawings, and sculptures. This intimate relationship with his wife not only showcased his artistic skill but also reflected the deep personal connection between the artist and his subject.
